PURPOSE:To surely give an electromagnetic shield property to a resin outside plate by overlapping SMC sheets on one side or both the side of aluminum foil folded in an accordion state setting them in a die and molded under pressure at a given temperature, and also joining the aluminum foil to resin. CONSTITUTION:When a forming method is applied to the formation of the engine hood of an automobile, aluminum foil 3 is folded in an accordion state to be set in a drag 1, a sheet 4, made in a sheet state with a glass fiber impregnated in an unsaturated polyester resin and composed of a 'sheet molding compound'(SMC) material, is overlapped to be set on the aluminum foil 3, is clamped by lowering a cope 2, and is formed by adding given temperature and pressure. Thereupon the resin of the softened SMC sheet 4 flowingly infiltrates into the V-shaped part of the aluminum foil 3 to adhere to the aluminum foil 3. In this case, the accordion-like aluminum foil 3 can not be broken even if the pressure of the resin is added because the aluminum foil 3 is deformable in its folded direction. |
