<p>Incoherent light sources depending on phosphors which may simultaneously emit at more than one wavelength are provided with multiple dielectric coatings to suppress a portion of the emission and thereby enhance the remainder. The use of such coatings with frequency up-converting phosphors as well as down-converting phosphors is described.</p> |
