The combustion chamber 3 and the complementary heating surface 7 of the boiler are surrounded by a water tank 11 into which the cold heating return 14 emerges in the region of the combustion chamber 3. In the water tank 11 is placed a box structure 22 surrounding the complementary heating surface 7, overlapping the latter at its top and over its sides. A partition 18, substantially parallel to the wall 10 of the combustion chamber 3, divides the water tank 11 into an internal compartment 16 and an external compartment 17. The heating return 14 is coupled up to the external compartment 17, while the internal compartment 16 is connected to that zone of the water tank 11 which is located below the box structure 22. The invention allows the production of a low-temperature boiler of particularly simple construction. <IMAGE>
