The loom roller end, esp. for a warp thread roller, consists of a circular plate (1) with a central hub (2) and an outer rim (3), with reinforcing ribs (4) between the hub and rim. Each alternate odd-numbered rib is divided at its top into two auxiliary ribs (6) which join the rim, while the even-numbered ribs end part-way betweeen the hub and rim. ADVANTAGE - Reduction in weight of roller end while preserving rigidity, making it easier to handle.
