Device for automatic and remote driving of a motor vehicle exhibiting a steering column actuated by a steering wheel (7), an engine (motor) and a braking system which are actuated respectively by an accelerator pedal (2) and by a brake pedal (1), characterised in that it includes on-board automatic speed and steering control members (21, 22), on-board management and monitoring members (19, 20), and in that it allows a conventional vehicle to be converted into a vehicle which can be driven automatically and remotely, by fitting the automatic speed-controlled members over the accelerator (2) and brake pedals, and by fitting the automatic steering-control members over the steering wheel (7). <IMAGE>
