PURPOSE:To judge an intermittent failure separating it from a fixed failure by comparing addition data updated by a failure monitoring section with addition data obtained in the preceding period that an intermittent failure monitoring section. CONSTITUTION:When a failure message is issued from a monitoring object device 1, a failure monitoring section 2 periodically monitors failure information issued from the monitoring object device 1, and when addition data by a counter 3 exceeds a threshold value, the failure monitoring section 2 informs a failure treatment section 5 that the failure is a fixed failure. On the other hand, in an intermittent failure judgement section 42, addition data updated by the failure monitoring section 2 is compared with addition data obtained in the preceding period. From this result of comparison, if a value obtained by adding 1 to the preceding period addition data is equal to addition data updated by the failure monitoring section, judgement is made that the intermittent failure is under judgement, and if the preceding period addition data is equal to addition data updated by the failure monitoring section, judgement is made that the failure is an intermittent failure. |
