The invention relates to the dispensing of particulate foods to animals.
<??>It relates to a dispensing apparatus which includes a hopper (3) which conveys foods in the form of large particles to a metering conveyor (4) which is driven in rotation so that it conveys foods at a regulated rate. A cam (8) is driven in synchronisation with the conveyor and gives signals representing the quantity of foods conveyed to a discharge conveyor (10) which turns more quickly than the metering conveyor and casts the foods over the ground.
