<p>PURPOSE:To easily peel a covering without damaging a conductor by holding a cable by an annular cutter secured to a frame, a linear cutter, an annular cutter sliding along the frame and a linear cutter, and providing a stopper for limiting the cutting distance of the stationary and movable cutters. CONSTITUTION:An upper stationary annular cutter 16 is secured to a frame 23 of a lateral cut part 15, a lower movable annular cutter 17 is slidably provided at the frame 23, a cable C is pressed toward the cutter 16 by a hydraulic cylinder 18 to form an annular cutout. The cutout is limited within a covering 3 by stoppers 35, 36. An upper stationary linear cutter 26 is secured to a frame 33 of a vertical cut part 25, a lower movable linear cutter 27 slidably provided at the frame 33 is pressed upward by a hydraulic cylinder 28 to form an axial cutout on the cable C. The cutout is limited within the covering 3 by stoppers 37, 38. The cable C is made to pivot and moved to the cut parts 15, 25 to form a plurality of cutouts, and the covering 3 is peeled. Thus, the covering can be easily peeled without damaging a conductor 1.</p> |
