PURPOSE:To make uniformly distributed alumina in monofilaments of fibers, in comparison with granular alumina and enable the thinning of the monofilaments themselves by including a prescribed length of alumina fibers in a synthetic resin as base material. CONSTITUTION:Monofilaments 10 composing a water-rubbing brush 20 dispose many of satisfactorily hard alumina long fibers 2, 2... uniformly in a synthetic resin base 1 into hybrids, which base 1 composes monofilament bodies. Each monofilament 10 of the brush 20 always has an equal relative repeating frequency of the alumina long fibers 2, 2... as abrasive in any cross section, and all 100% at that. This makes a uniform abrasive face. The alumina long fibers 2, 2... are juxtaposed in the longitudinal direction common to the base 1 itself, and with the increase in alumina percentage content, the fibers 2, 2... do not lose their strong firmness as brush materials, which enables the monofilaments 10 themselves to be thinned and densed. |
