<p>PURPOSE:To reduce crosstalk and improve the display quality by providing a scan bus and a thin film transistor on both sides of the reference potential supply bus line of matrix type liquid crystal. CONSTITUTION:A data bus line 82 is formed on one of two glass substrates 80 and 89 which are arranged opposite each other across liquid crystal, and a scan bus line 81, a display electrode 84a which constitutes a thin film transistor 83 and a liquid crystal cell 84, and a reference potential supply bus line 88 are formed on the other substrate. In this constitution, the data bus line 82 and scan bus line 81 are arranged orthogonally. Consequently, the need to form an insulation layer at an intersection is eliminated to simplify the constitution and there is no short circuit between the data bus line 82 and scan bus line 81, so a defect in display is eliminated and the manufacture yield is improved.</p> |
