PURPOSE:To heat a packaging material for a long period of time efficiently by a method wherein two sets of seal bars are provided on blocks which are strokably provided on guides at both sides of a chain conveyor, and the seal bars are operated respectively by a stroke mechanism, and both blocks are moved by a reciprocating motion mechanism in the opposite directions. CONSTITUTION:By guides 25, 25 at both sides of a chain conveyor 16, movable blocks 27, 28 are supported, and a reciprocating motion mechanism 63 makes both movable blocks 27, 28 operate in the opposite directions, and when the movable block 27 advances by approximately the same speed with the chain conveyor 16, the movable block 28 retreats. Also, when two seal bars 17, 18 which are connected to two guide rods of the movable block 27 advance while pinch-heating a packaging material, two seal bars 19, 20 of the movable block 28 retreat, and when a second set of seal bars pinch-heat, a first set of seal bars retreat, and continuously moving packaging materials are alternately welded by the first set and second set of seal bars. |
