PURPOSE:To prevent an edge from being damaged by making the edge part provided on the point of an approximately oval semi-shere like cover part to protrude along the internal peripheral surface of another cover part, and performing a cutting process by the edge and the internal peripheral surface of another cover part. CONSTITUTION:A biopsy forceps 1 is made of stainless steel. A retaining part 2 similar to the handle of scissors is provided on one end, and a cover part 3 exetndingly provided in a direction opposite to the retaining part 2 is provided on the other end. The cover part 3 is formed in an approximately oval shape in its section, and it is constituted in an oval semi-sphere like bowl shape which extends in right the direction perpendicular to the surface of drawing. An edge part 4 is formed on the point of the cover part 3, and the point of the edge is curved inward so as to form an edged tool. A cover part 6 is also provided on the other end of the other retaining part 5. The cover part is formed a little shallower on the side of the retaining part 5 and a little deeper on the side of the retaining part 2, and the edge face of the point is inclined. The external peripheral surface of an edge part 7 is made to be in closing sliding contact with the inside face of the edge part 4. The slinding face between the edge part 7 and the edge part 4 is constituted in a curved face having a length (l) ranging from a fulcrum 8 to the external surface of edge part 7 as its radius R. |
