<p>PURPOSE:To effectively prevent the generation of smells of water soluble organic solvents or various chemicals containing the water soluble organic solvents by comprising a benzotriazole compound, more preferably, a benzotriazole compound represented by the general formula. CONSTITUTION:Deodorants for water soluble organic solvents include benzotriazole compounds having the structures of compounds A-F. These benzotriazole compounds may be used alone, or in combination of two or more. Although the deodorants for water soluble organic solvent are effective for individual water soluble organic solvents, they show particularly remarkable deodorizing effect on aqueous solutions containing the water soluble organic solvents.</p> |
