PURPOSE:To maintain high reliability even if the lead is taken out to outside and automatize it easily by attaching the lead wire fitted with protective cover of an insulator directly to the electrode part of a solar battery element after peeling off the protective cover at the end, and sealing the end of the protective cover or its vicinity with resin. CONSTITUTION:A solar battery element 12 consisting of a compound semiconductor is made at the bottom of a glass board 11, and insulating resin 13 is provided below it. An electrode 16 is made at the end of the solar battery element 12, and here an inner lead wire 17 is soldered. The conductor of the inner lead wire 17 is a copper solid wire, and the outside is covered with a protective cover 17' of an insulator, but the cover 17' is stripped off at the end, and the end is sealed with resin 18. This way, the electrode of the inner lead or its vicinity is sealed with resin 18, and the others are sealed with sealing agents 45 or the likes, and the reliability of sealing is high. The laying of the resin 18 is simple and easy, and the application of a robot, etc., becomes possible for the sealing of this part or the formation of a module, and a cheap solar battery module can be offered. |
