<p>PURPOSE:To surely and efficiently manage a ring band by individually assigning window sizes to virtual channels VC housed in each distributed node. CONSTITUTION:Each distributed node 22 is provided with an access unit AU having a buffer for handling the setting and opening of a virtual channel VC. Therefore, the band of a ring 21 can be managed easily and surely, since the window size assigned to each node 22 can be managed by using the sum of window sizes of the virtual channels VC when the window sizes are individually assigned to the virtual channels VC housed in each distributed node 22.</p> |
