Surface discharge arrangement for sepn. of substances contained in a liq. in a container, the specific gravity of which is greater or less than the liq. consists of a float with slots, one end of which is below and the other above the liq. level, for inlet of substance or liq., with a discharge body, which can be in the form of a bellows or a telescopic tube. A perforated tube passes through the float and bellows and the bottom of the vessel. The liq. passes from the bellows through the tube for discharge. ADVANTAGE - Simple and reliable.
