PURPOSE:To reproduce musical sound information even by the cassette tape reproducing device capable of reverse reproduction by forming a case means in conformity with a compact cassette, employing two-channel constitution for an electromagnetic converting means which is incorporated therein, and switching the channels corresponding to the rotating direction of the reel shafts of the reproducing device. CONSTITUTION:A cassette main body 1 (case means) consisting of an upper case 2 and a lower case 3 is constituted in the shape corresponding to the compact cassette. The electromagnetic converting means 28 incorporated therein has the two-channel constitution, which is switched by a control means 41, which controls the switching state of a switching means 53 corresponding to the output of a rotation detecting means 42, corresponding to, for example, the rotating direction of the reel shafts. Consequently, even when the reel shafts are reversed, a musical sound can be reproduced. |
