PURPOSE:To prepare a resin compsn. showing an improved mold releasability in injection molding and giving a precision molded article having a low molding strain by compounding an acetal resin with an ether group-terminated polyalkylene glycol and a fatty acid ester of a polyhydric alcohol. CONSTITUTION:100 pts.wt. acetal resin is compounded with 0.01-5 pts.wt. at least one ether group-terminated polyalkylene glycol of the formula (wherein R1 is H. a 1-7C aliph. hydrocarbon group, or an aryl group; R2 is an ethylene or propylene group; R3 is a 1-7C aliph. hydrocarbon group or an aryl group; and m>=20) and 0.01-2.0 pts.wt. fatty acid ester of a polyhydric alcohol obtd. by reacting a 2-10C polyhydric alcohol with a 22-32C or higher fatty acid to give a resin compsn., which shows a markedly improved mold releasability in injection molding without adversely affecting the excellent mechanical properties, thermal stability, and molding appearance inherent in the acetal resin. |
