<p>PURPOSE:To enhance treatment capacity and minimize installation area for an aeration tank by making the whole body of a cleaning tank vertically long and making the upper open surface area of the tank small and the upper open surface area of a precipitation tank large. CONSTITUTION:This vertically long cleaning apparatus has an aeration tank 3 in the lower side and a precipitation tank 4 in the upper side while having a tilting partitioning part 2a between them and the whole body of the apparatus is formed into a vertically long shape and at the same time the upper end of the partitioning part 2a is raised to make the upper open surface area of the aeration tank 3 small and the upper open surface area of the precipitation tank 4 large. Consequently, the aeration tank 3 and the precipitation tank 4 can be united to become compact and moreover the upper open surface area of the aeration tank 3 is made small and the depth of the water can be made deep, so that oxygen dissolving efficiency in the aeration tank 3 is heightened and treatment capacity is improved. Also, the upper open surface area of the precipitation tank 4 is made large, so that the solid-liquid separation function is heightened and moreover the installation area becomes small as compared with a conventional horizontally long-type one. As a result, foundation construction is carried out in a small scale and the treatment capacity is improved and the installation is carried out easily.</p> |
