<p>PURPOSE:To exhibit the supercharge effects of both a variable inertia charging system and a variable resonance charging system by sequentially providing surge tanks for high and low speed rotation, and providing variable intake valves on the way of secondary intake pipes for high speed rotation. CONSTITUTION:Variable inlet valves 18A-1 to 18A-3 are closed respectively, air intake passing through a throttle valve 6A is fed to the primary inlet pipes 14A-1 to 14A-3 for low speed rotation by way of a first surge tank 8A, a communicating part 10A, and a second surge tank 12A at the time of the low speed rotation of a V type engine 2, and from here, supplied to each cylinder (not shown in the figure) of a one side 2A. Variable intake valves 18A-1 to 18A-3, on the other hand, are opened respectively, intake air passing through the throttle valve 6A is fed to the secondary inlet pipes 16A-1 to 16A-3 for high speed rotation by way of the first surge tank 8A and openings 20A-1 to 20A-3, and from here, supplied to each cylinder (not shown in the figure) of the one side 2A at the time of the high speed rotation of the V type engine 2. Also, intake air is supplied in the same manner as the above-mentioned on the other side 2A of the V type engine 2.</p> |
