A heat bonded thermoplastic matrix has a number of threads made up of a high tensile filaments which are kept sepd. while being embedded so that they are practically fully surrounded by the matrix. The threads can be oriented to meet the loads expected on the material and can be woven, knitted, etc.. Each thread (3'-13') can have 700-12000, pref. 1000 filaments. USE/ADVANTAGE - The filaments provide reinforcement capable of supporting considerable tensile loads. (Dwg.No.0/3)
