A closure cap for a container, in particular a radiator filler cap for motor vehicle, has a cap outer part (10) linked to a pot-shaped cap inner part (18) that is submerged in the opening to be closed, and at the bottom (34) of which is arranged an opening(36). A pressure control/negative pressure valve (28) arranged in the cap inner part (18) has a housing (30) supported by a first pressure control (negative pressure) coil spring (32) on the bottom (34) of the cap inner part (18) and that carries on its edge a first circular sealing ridge (38). A spring housing (40) is submerged in the valve housing (30) and has a radially outwardly directed flange (44) for supporting an elastic sealing ring (46) that rests at the same time on the first sealing ridge(38) of the valve housing (30) and on a second circular sealing ridge (48) having a greater diameter and formed on a shoulder (50) of the cap inner part (18). The spring housing (40) has an opening (42) in its bottom and receives a second pressure control (overpressure) coil spring (52). A spring adjusting wheel (54) that can be screwed into the cap inner part (18) lies on the end of the overpressure spring (52) opposite to the valve housing (30). The cap has means (62,64,66) for blocking the spring adjusting wheel (54) in a desired position with respect to the cap inner part (18). |
