PURPOSE:To prevent an external monitor device from being misoperated by passing the right to control the automatic teller machine from the external monitor device to an internal monitor device automatically and inhibiting a trouble recovery command from being sent out of the external monitor device when a state detecting means detects the opening state of a door. CONSTITUTION:When the door 201 is open, i.e. when an interlock switch 203 is ON, the right to control the automatic teller machine 100 is switched from the remote monitor 22 to the internal monitor 18, which controls the operation of the automatic teller machine 100 and also monitors its operation state. Consequently, even if a clerk in charge carries on recovery processing operation nearby the automatic teller machine 100 while the door 201 is open, the remote monitor 22 can not output the trouble recovery command, so another clerk in charge is prevented from misoperating the remote monitor 22. |
