PURPOSE:To prepare the title compsn. giving a film, etc., excellent in slipperiness, transparency, etc., by compounding an arom. polyester with fine particles of a divinylbenzene/ethylvinylbenzene copolymer having specific functional groups. CONSTITUTION:Particles of a divinylbenzene/ethylvinylbenzene copolymer having a mean particle diameter of 0 01-5mum are, e.g. treated with (meth)acrylic acid, etc., to introduce carboxyl groups to the surface each particle of and made alkaline to give particles of a divinylbenzene/ethylvinylbenzene copolymer having alkali metal carboxylate groups. The resulting particles are compounded into a polyester comprising a dibasic acid component mainly consisting of an arom. dibasic acid (e.g. terephthalic acid) and at least one glycol component (e.g. ethylene glycol), giving the title compsn. |
