PURPOSE:To prevent outside of the reception band, due to the frequency preset by external factors, by setting the reception state to that in a specific receptionable frequency and alarming the cause to a failure production if it is preset. CONSTITUTION:When a preset slection key 3 is operated, the content of a preset storage section 13 corresponding in an RAM11 is transferred to a frequency storage section 12, and the frequency of the section 12 and the output of a frequency band storage section 14 in each band are sequentially compared in the order of the band. In this comparing processing, first the frequency is compared with the lower limit value, and then with the upper limit, and if the frequency of the section 12 is included between the lower and upper limit values, the content of the section 12 is outputted on a display device 2. Further, in a repective comparing processing for all the bands, if the band is not included in any band, the error display is outputted to the display device 2, and the error display, e.g. ''E'', which alarm the frequency of the frequency storage section 12 is the outside of the receptionable frequency band, is displayed on the display device 2 for several seconds and it is informed to the operator. Thus, a radio listener can make suitable operation, allowing to assure excellent reception state al all times. |
