A collapsible container comprising a base panel which may be in a form of a pallet and a plurality of side panels which are either directly or indirectly hinged to the base panel so that the side panels can assume a folded position lying mutually parallel on the base panel within the confine of the periphery of the base panel, the side panels also being adapted to assume an erect position in which the side panels extend vertically of the base panel in abutting contact to terminate in a planar open top. The container including a latch member that extends from a first side panel to clip against the edge of the adjacent panel and means to place the latch member in tension on the adjacent panel. The containers are stackable both when erect or collapsed. |
