PURPOSE:To make the thermal expansion coefficient of an air electrode near that of an electrolytic membrane and suppress cracking and peeling off by using a material of LaCoO3-based composite oxide to which an electrolytic material is added for an air electrode. CONSTITUTION:In a solid electrolyte-type fuel battery having electricity generating part consisting of a fuel electrode, an air electrode, and an electrolyte, a material of LaCoO3-based composite oxide to which an electrolyte of 60-80wt.% is added is used for the air electrode. As the LaCoO3-based composite oxide, La1-xMxCoO3 (M=Ca, Sr, Ba; 0<x<=0.5) may be used. As a result, the conductivity of each component of the membrane of the solid electrolyte-type fuel battery is heightened and the thermal expansion coefficient of each membrane is made close and cracking and peeling off of a membrane at the time of forming the membrane and generating electricity. |
