摘要 <p>A chewing gum employing total invert sugar or medium invert sugar or a mixture thereof as a humectant. The chewing gum preferably comprises between about 0.1 to 5.0 percent by weight total invert sugar or between about 0.1 to 5.0 percent by weight medium invert sugar or between about 0.1 to 5.0 percent by weight of a mixture of total invert sugar and medium invert sugar. A method of manufacturing the chewing gum is also disclosed.</p>
