The visible conducting parts in opposite lying bores can be connected together, by short round sleeve elements (3) of conducting material in combination with corrugated washers (4). The sleeves with the corrugated washers are embedded invisibly in the bores, after the assembly of the wooden parts. Two sleeve elements, divided in the shear plane (5), are used so that the wooden parts are able to move against each other in shear. The mechanical connection of the individual parts is achieved with pins (6), which are guided by bores, sleeves and washers. The wooden parts and the electrical conductors are pressed together, with wedges (7) or similar. USE/ADVANTAGE - Electrical conductor system integrated in wooden parts, esp. for low voltage halogen light fittings. Jointed electrically and mechanically without visible metal parts. Adjustable and easily dismantled. Appear to be made exclusively of wood with electrical conduction by wood.
