Salts of esterification products of maleic acid with oligoglycerine partial esters, having formula (I), in which R?1, R2, R3 and R4¿ represent independently from each other hydrogen, a saturated aliphatic acyl rest with 8 to 18 carbon atoms or a CO-CH=CH-COOX residue; X is an alkali metal or ammonium and n is 0 or integers between 1 and 18, provided that among the substituents R1 to R4 at least one represents an acyl residue and at least one represents a CO-CH=CH-COOX residue, are useful, if necessary mixed with other anionic or non ionic surfactants, as collectors for the flotation of non pyritiferous ores, in particular apatite.
