Aligner for receiver directional aerial onto signal transmitter - uses directional aerial directional diagram width control and compensation mixer

The receiver (3) coupled highly focussing, directional reception aerial(1) is aligned onto a signal transmitter (21) by a direction finding system with two direction finding aerials (4-7) at the reception aerial periphery, swivellable with the latter. The directional reception aerial has a device, affecting the width of its direcitonal diagram. The signals, received by the direction finding and reception aerials, are fed to a compensation mixer (13). Pref. the direction finding aerials are sequentially connectable to a direction finding receiver (9) via a commutator (8). The gonio receiver and the signal receiver output signals are fed to the compensation mixer. USE/ADVANTAGE - For satellite communication systems, with improved operation w.r.t. the strength the search signal.
