PURPOSE:To display a vector which is constant in line width irrelevantly to a drawing angle and has anti-aliasing effect by providing a brightness table wherein the inclination of the vector and the decimal part on the short-axis side are reflected. CONSTITUTION:The brightness table 40 receives a pixel counter signal, a selected inclination, and a selected decimal part as addresses from a sequencer 30 for memory writing, an inclination selector 50, and a decimal part selector 60 respectively. The brightness table 40 sends out brightness data (data on brightness distribution) showing a brightness value read out with the addresses to a VRAM 20. The brightness data has a brightness distribution which makes the vector width constant at right angles to the selected inclination, reflects the selected decimal part in the center of the brightness distribution, and corresponds to a display position where the line width is constituted with the pixel count signal. Consequently, the quality of the vector displayed on a display screen can be improved. |
