Mfr. of mouldings or objects (I) is claimed. (I) consists of at least one external plastic layer with the moulding on one surface on which a foam layer is arranged either via an intermediate or directly. The plastic coating or moulding is mfd. by negative or positive thermoforming, extrusion, blowing processes or blow moulding, slush moulding or by rotation sintering. The novelty is that (I) made of a formed film, sheet, plate, mass, blow moulding, melt or lower before, during or after cooling is made into a second form which corresponds to a form or profile of the first produced form. The moulding is closed or sealed with a lid and after final moulding and/or surface structuring or pocking, and before, during or after closing the moulding, plastic foam or hollow particles selected from spherical granulate open porous or closed porous foams, are applied into the intermediate space between the plastic (I) or lid. A hot gas or water vapour is then introduced via several pipes into the closed intermediate space which contains particles partially or completed sintered or welded or moulded using adhesive cpds.. The particles simultaneously bond with (I) comprising moulded and/or structured polyolefin film, sheet, plate or layer, and the finished moulding or object contg. a foamed layer is removed from the mould after or during cooling. An appts. for carrying out the process is also claimed.
