Crossbar for window and door frames - has ends tapered to form wedge shape

The crossbar fits into window or door frames and presents a bearing surface parallel to the plane of the frame. The crossbar (1) end (2) bearing on the frame should be tapered in thickness to form a wedge shape at right angles to its bearing surface (4), only to run out in a thin front sector (5). Pref. the crossbar ends are sectors to be joined to the main crossbar, possibly plugged into this if the crossbar is hollow. Crossbar and ends made from plastics.
