Single sheet cutter for printer - has rotary blade elements that may be used to increment paper for next cycle

A printer operates with paper supplied from a continuous roll (30). The paper is fed around guide rollers (15) and across the print head (16) assembly. The paper then passes through a cutter that consists of a counter element (22) and a movable cutter (21). Both elements have a part cylindrical form. The movable element is driven by a belt (17). During winding on of the single sheets the counter element (22) is free to turn with the main cutter. During cutting the counter element is held stationary. ADVANTAGE - Provides simple means of cutting sheets, from paper or cardboard e.g. for use as labels.
