Both homogeneity and polyphonic effect are obtained by creating a plurality of sound propagation directions which converge to a same location (3) where the audience is placed. Loudspeaker enclosures (10, 111-141) are distributed along each of the propagation directions so that, relative to each direction, all areas where the listeners are placed receive the sound in the same way. In order to give the audience a feeling of origin, the emissions of loudspeaker enclosures placed close to said listeners are delayed with respect to the emissions produced by a master loudspeaker enclosure (40) placed at the head of the emission. Thereby, it is possible to give a large number of listeners a homogeneous, polyphonic perception of sound.
|
