PURPOSE:To reduce internal resistance and enable high conversion efficiency to be maintained even with a large area by stacking a CdS sintered film and CdTe sintered film on the surface of a glass substrate by printing and sintering method, and further forming a carbon electrode film on the CdTe film, and then heat-treating it in hydrogen atmosphere. CONSTITUTION:CdS paste is made of CdS powder, propylene glycol, CdCl2, as an assistant, and others, and it is printed on the surface of a glass substrate 1 by screen printing, and then it is baked at a sintering temperature to form a CdS sintered film 2. A CdTe sintered film 3 also is formed partially on the surface of the CdS film 2 excluding the electrode takeout part similar to the CdS film 2. Next, a carbon electrode film 4 is made on the surface of the CdTe film 3. Next, it is heattreated for 0.1-2 hours at a temperature of 400-475 deg.C in the hydrogen current atmosphere of 5-500cc/min..cm<2> in flow velocity. Here by, the resistance of the CdS film 2 can be made low without lowering the transmittance. |
