<p>PURPOSE:To simplify a construction while dispensing with cooling liquid, to thereby reduce a manufacturing cost by forming the front of a CRT in a lens shape, and providing a cooling means thereat. CONSTITUTION:A front panel side 510 of a CRT 50 is formed in a square shape while glass material is used therefor and an opening 511 coupling with an opening 503 is formed on one side. Fluorescent material is formed at the inner part of the opening 511, which makes a fluorescent screen 512. On the other side of the front panel side 510 a spherical concaved part 513 is formed to form a part of projection lens. On its upper and lower sides, square board shape radiation fins 514 and 515 are provided to cool each side. The front side of the CRT can be thus used as a part of projection lens, which simplifies a construction while and dispensing with cooling liquid.</p> |
