<p>The method for mounting a cathode tube onto a monitor front frame consists of the following steps: a) positioning the front frame (102); b) supporting the tube (105) by blowing; c) centring the tube (105) using two concentrically and simultaneously displaceable V-blocks (501, 521); d) producing suction on the tube (105) and causing the V-blocks (501, 521) to open; e) lowering the tube (105) so that it rests on the areas (1024) with a high coefficient of adhesion; f) making the tube integral with the front face (102); g) discontinuing suction and releasing the mounted unit.</p> |
