A formed cable channel used for vehicle installations has a moulded sectors (2,3,4) with one side (3) formed to fit against the vehicle body shell (7). The other long side of the channel (4) is produced with a thin line section (5) that acts as hinge and facilitates installation of the cables. The top of the channel is enclosed by a cover (9) returned in place by formed spring clips (8). Overlapping sides provice complete enclosure. ADVANTAGE - Ease of assembly, demounting and readjusting during mfr. processes avoiding use of intensive labour. Can be injection moulded.
