<p>The present invention relates to an exterior covering structure for a building (1). It comprises prefabricated modules (3) incorporating a composite pouch to be attached as facade (cladding) and mechanical fixing means for assembling them together directly onto the building. The mechanical fixing means are constituted by members (6) for fastening and locking into position the modules (3), previously anchored onto the building (1) and capable of interacting with at least one upper and/or lower end portion of the said modules (3) by the agency of slots (7) traversed by the fastening members (6) during the mounting of the said modules (3), which are locked into a ready position for final fixing.
