A new compound of the formula: <CHEM> wherein <CHEM> is an optionally substituted benzene ring; R<1> is a carbocyclic or heterocyclic group which is linked to the 4-position of the 1,3-benzoxazine ring through a carbon-carbon bond, a hydrocarbon residue, etc.; and R<2> and R<3> are independently a hydrogen atom or an optionally substituted C1-6 alkyl group, etc., or a salt thereof is useful for treating and preventing heart, circulatory, respiratory and cerebral diseases.
