The system has as its objective to establish communication in an automatic manner between two points through reading encoded data. It is a system associated with an automatic teller, comprising a control microprocessor 1 and associated circuitry which, as a function of data supplied by a magnetic reader 3 or RS232 interface 14, by means of a number called encoding matrix 5, activates on the one hand optical signalling 4 of position activated and on the other hand establishes communication with a given point by telephone line 6 by means of a tone detector 8 and a line interface 7. The means of interaction comprise a microphone 12 and a loudspeaker 11 to which a voltage amplifier 10 supplies a signal the control of which is effected by the microprocessor 1 by means of a supply control circuit 9; said means are liked to a hands-free circuit 13 which establishes the link with the telephone line by means of a line interface 7. <IMAGE>
