The monomer is characterised in that it comprises: - at least two carbon-carbon double bonds, each double bond being activated, that is to say the polymerisation of which is facilitated by an electron-withdrawing functional group, - a noncentrosymmetric system of conjugated pi bonds carrying at least one electron-withdrawing group at one of the ends and at least one electron-donating group at the other end.
