The light fitting includes a non-reflecting structure and a diffuser screen, the non-reflecting structure enclosing a series of profiles 1 for mounting and support of the fluorescent tubes 2, and profiles 3 arranged transversely to the profiles 1 for mutual stiffening of the latter. This general, non-reflecting framework constitutes the means of support for the tubes 2, installation, lamp holder, etc. The diffuser panel 7 is formed in such a way that sections or units are formed on the basis of flanges 9, each pair of these provided colaterally with respect to each fluorescent tube 2 and each one of these flanges 9 being fitted via its upper edge to the inner face of the respective lateral flange 10 of the actual profile 1 supporting the fluorescent tubes 2. The structure of the light fitting is applicable basically to ceiling housings, allowing the interchanging of the tubes 2 without removing the diffuser screen 7 or the fitting or removal of the latter while keeping the tubes 2 fixed in the supports 1. <IMAGE>
