System for obtaining electrical or hydraulic energy by means of a body which is dropped freely from (via) a specific height, utilising the kinetic energy produced and converting it into electrical or hydraulic energy. This body has a greater volume than weight, with the result that, by means of a compartment with a series of hatches, we place said body in contact with a mass of water. Because the volume is greater, the said body will ascend to the surface of the water on its own. Some of this ascending force will be used to locate the body in such a position as to be dropped freely once again. Likewise, some of the kinetic energy produced upon the body's falling, together with the pressure of the mass of water, will be used to place the body in direct contact with said water. <IMAGE>
