This bathtub is of the type which comprises a folding base frame formed by two scissor-articulated U-shaped elements and on them is coupled a rigid receptacle to form the bathtub. This bathtub has been equipped with means for easy handling, for the fitting and removal of a dressing cover over the bathtub, which dressing cover has a removable outer. The bathtub is also provided with bags for storing the child's bath time accessories and clothing, these bags being coupled so as to hang from the upper portion of one of the U-shaped elements. The other U-shaped element comprises, on its two branches, individual supports where a transverse U-shaped rod is articulated, the ends of which rod are articulated on individual lugs integral with the central zone of the ends of the lower face of the dressing cover. <IMAGE>
