PURPOSE:To eliminate the possibility of the generation of trouble such as the cutting or fall-out of hair by mixing an antibacterial agent with the material of a plastic brush stem and/or a brush hair adhesive. CONSTITUTION:Coatside 150 is mixed with a styrenic or olefinic plastic material as an antibacterial agent in a wt. ratio of 0.3% and the resulting mixture is molded. Animal hair (mainly, horse hair) is fixed to this brush stem by an adhesive. The adhesive is a two-pack type epoxy type or quick-drying chloroprene rubber adhesive and coatside 55D and slaofu 39 being antibacterial agents are respectively mixed with the adhesive by 0.2wt.%. The brush thus obtained doese not generate trouble such as the cutting or fall-out of hair in spite of a plastic brush stem even when washing is neglected or drying operation is omitted and withstands long-time use. |
