EV 4100/39 A method for producing an active fragment of recombinant human immune interferon is disclosed which method comprises extracting transformed microorganisms capable of expressing immuna interferon after rupture of the cells in the absence of a protease inhibitor and purifying the extract obtained using monoclonal antibodies to immune interferon.
