The apparatus includes an interlocking section (502) for activating a selecting switch when receiving video/audio analogue signals from an input/output section (503). An input selecting section (501) selects the video/audio signals, and a reproducing circuit (500) carries out analogue-digital and digital/analogue conversions. A repeat code signal generation control section (514) controls the generation of repeat command codes, and an intermediate forcible repeat code generating section (515) generates reset or start pulses. A repeat executing section (507) controls reset or start signals of the data reproducing circuit (500), and a segment assuring circuit (510) controls the reset and start signals of a forced repeat command transferring section (511).
